Postdoc in Andrea Puhar’s group. Her research interests focus on molecular biology, library screening and metabolomics.
Sophie obtained her PhD in microbiology from Toulouse University, France. She studied the interaction between the host and the gut microbiota with a focus on a genotoxin called colibactin.
She started a postdoc in Andrea Puhar lab in 2017 to work on the regulation of extracellular ATP on intestinal bacteria. Her research interests focus on molecular biology, library screening and metabolomics.
Apart from being a researcher, she has a keen interest in science outreach and was part of the Umeå Postdoc Society.
