Borrowing UID Camera Equipment

UID has several cameras and other related recording equipment that can be borrowed by UID students. Peter Lundholm is in charge of this equipment.

Generally, it is a good idea to book the equipment a week before you actually need it. Do this by talking to Peter directly, or by sending a mail or text message.

Also - please return it as soon as you are finished, even if you booked it for a longer period, since there are usually other people in line to use it. Remember, for user studies and documentation, your phone is usually good enough (but you knew that already, right?)

When you borrow UID equipment, you are responsible for taking good care of it, and for storing it safely (locked in) when you are not using it. Should a camera or other equipment be stolen, get lost or break during the time you are responsible for it, you will be invoiced the whole or partial cost for repairing or replacing it.

If you need access to the photo studio, send a mail at least one day before to house technician Anders Hellström to get your access card working for the days that you want to use the studio.
