Communicating about one’s research can be challenging when navigating the different stages of the publication process. At these stages, we need to understand and respond to both the editor’s requirements and, often, reviewers’ comments.

This workshop addresses pedagogical communication in the publication process with the aim of improving the publication rate of important research results. The workshop begins with an introduction to the topic, followed by practical exercises where participants will discuss each other’s examples. We will work with both technical aspects such as what a cover letter should include and what language and structure are most effective for point by point responses to reviewers’ comments. We will also address psychological reframing, focusing on how to genuinely listen to an engaged reviewer and how to prevent our own ego from getting in the way of success.

Before the workshop, participants are asked to bring a cover letter written by themselves or by someone in their research group. Please anonymize the text if necessary so that it can be discussed during the workshop.

Language: Swedish, but the workshop can be given in English if needed.

Register
</atom:content><place>Läraren, UPL</place><type>Workshop</type>
<startdatum>2026-04-22T14:00:00+02:00</startdatum><slutdatum>2026-04-22T16:00:00+02:00</slutdatum>

Learner Experience Design

For program coordinators and others working with programs

<atom:content type="html">
We work with the student's perspective, their motivation through the journey of studying, student agency and non-linearity of learning.

Support in course and program development

A series of workshops on course and program development with the theme “Quality Teaching in a Smaller Scale,” taking the economic situation into account.
