The ongoing digitalization of the real estate industry is of major strategic interest for both the industry itself and on the national level, as the implementation of digital technology, such as sensor-based systems (Internet of Things, IoT) are prompting real estate firms to explore new avenues for value creation and at the same time improve energy efficiency with the expectation of reaching targeted sustainability goals.
