Gothenburg University and Umeå University are, in collaboration, running QRM – Quantitative Research Methods in Education – a research school and a research network focusing on quantitative research methods in educational research.

The main purpose of the QRM is to contribute to the building of the competence within the field of quantitative methods for research within the educational sciences.

QRM therefore offers:

  • Research courses in the areas of design, measurement and analysis of quantitative data from both large and small studies within the field of educational sciences
  • Workshops on given topics related to state of the art in educational measurement
  • An annual conference
  • Membership in QRM’s network
  • Some consultancy / expert tutoring

The Network is linked to the research school and is open for researchers from all disciplines who are interested in educational research where quantitative research methods are used. Members of the network will be given access to a unique national and international network of researchers and doctorate students, giving opportunities to professional development, networking and research collaboration.

The QRM network welcomes members from the research community in Sweden and internationally! To sign up for the network or inquire about the network further, go to qrm.se/membership
