Patric Blomstedt är professor i stereotaktisk funktionell neurokirurgi, director of the WSSFN, president of SSSFN & director of the Stereotactic Academy. Hans nuvarande forskning är fokuserad på zona incerta som ett mål vid rörelsestörningar samt på DBS i behandlingen av psykiatriska sjukdomar.
