Extra security measures - all students must change their password and install MFA

All students at Umeå University have to change their password linked to their UMU ID and install multi-factor authentication (MFA) on their student account. This is done to increase security and reduce the risk of unauthorised access.

Higher security when logging into Ladok

From 5 December 2023, you need to have confirmed your Umu-id to log into Ladok if you have a Swedish personal identity number.
