I coordinate the activities of the Arctic Graduate School and other Arctic education activities. My academic backgrounds are Cognitive Science, Computer Science and Psychology.

Freja has a background as a medical doctor and ecologist, with a particular  interest in the Arctic. She is a PhD student in Infectious Disease Epidemiology in Magnus Evander’s group.

In my PhD project, I am addressing the importance of sensory curiosity in the exploration of unfamiliar foods, to contribute to the urgent transition to a resilient food system in the Swedish Arctic.

I am a PhD student in educational work. My research project concerns how the place affects teachers within compulsory school’s aesthetic subjects in rural Arctic Sweden.

I am a PhD student in linguistics specializing in language policy and planning related to the national minority language Meänkieli.

My research concerns media, journalism and sustainability, with a focus on media discourses about the so-called green reindustrialisation and societal transition of the Swedish North.

My PhD project looks at the health effects of cold exposure in arctic climates with a focus on a sustainable working life. The project is part of the Arctic research school.
