English A for international exchange students under formal agreements and free-movers, 7.5 Credits
About the course
This course is open exclusively to two categories of international students, viz. 1. international students who are studying at Umeå University under a formal exchange agreement 2. free-mover students. The course carries 7,5 higher education credits and comprises a total of 24 contact hours (two hours a week for twelve weeks). It starts in week 6 (spring semester) and week 38 (autumn semester). A course information meeting is held about one week prior to the first lesson. The course is primarily aimed at improving the students' oral and written language proficiency. Attendance at lessons/lectures is compulsory.
Level of Education: Basic without academic experience
