Here is the new academic leadership at Umeå University

As of 1 July 2025, Umeå University has a number of new leaders in place. It is the Vice-Chancellor who appoints the Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Deans and Deputy deans - the latter are the senior academic leaders of the four faculties at the university - while the Pro-Vice-Chancellor is appointed by the university board, on the recommendation of the Vice-Chancellor. All Deans and Deputy deans are appointed until 30 June 2029.
