New student website coming up
At the end of January 2025, the website aimed at supporting students, www.umu.se/en/student, will be relaunched in a new design. Take a sneak peek now if you want to.

This change will primarily involve a new navigation and you will find information from your course or programme in the same place as information applicable to all students. It also contributes to more relevant search results on the student web.

How does this affect you?
If you log into the new student website using your UMU ID, you will not only see your schedule and the courses you are taking, but you will also find contact details to study-related roles, and other information from your course or programme, together with information applicable to all students under one theme in the information structure.

When will the new web be launched?
The new student website will replace the current web at the end of January 2025, around a week after the start of the spring semester.

Why is a new student website necessary?
The University wants to simplify for students to find information online. The new student website will not solve all challenges, but it will hopefully simplify your studies.
