Arranging, Composing and Music Theory, 30 credits
The course is discontinued from 2025-05-05
Contents
This course is for those who are interested to further develop their skills in arranging, composition and music theory. The basic contents are based on briefings, video lectures, discussions on deepening of style practice of arranging and composition in various musical contexts and for different instruments. A tool for learning and development in this context, is continuous individual and group-based feedback. The artistic composition and arranging process is also put in a scientific perspective with analysis of literature and the research within the field. A continuous idea through the course is a solid anchoring and deepening of musical theoretical knowledge, and a continuous practical application of the various aspects of music theory and its variety. The course is a distance course, and is managed through an online learning platform.
