The course objectives is to develop basic knowledge and skills in planning, creating and administer websites used for learning environment.
Course content: -The history and development of the web -Design and publication of websites -Web graphics -Law and ethical considerations associated with web publishing -Techniques to support and simplify creation and administration of websites used in learning environments.
Expected learning outcomes
After the course the student will be able to:
- Create a website
- Publish a website
- Create and optimise graphics for the web
- Describe the background of the web and its structure
- Apply techniques that support and simplifies the creation and administration of websites
- Explain law and ethical considerations associated with web publishing
