Contents

The students that complete this course will understand the basic principles and technical applications related to the primary conversion of chemical energy to heat- and power. Within the course special focus are on function, construction and optimisation of available heat and power systems. The economics of heat- and power systems are also discussed.

Required Knowledge

In order to be admitted to the course, applicants must meet general eligibility requirements for higher education in Sweden, as well as have completed thermodynamics for Biofuels,7.5 ECTS , Fuels, 7.5 ECTS and Combustion, gasification and pyrolysis, 7.5 ECTS or equal.
