Contents
This course examines global environmental changes and their consequences for the sub-arctic and alpine environments. We study both limnological and terrestrial ecosystems with a focus on past and present climate changes and biogeochemical cycles. The course is strongly connected to on-going research at the Climate Impact Research Centre in Abisko and important parts are fieldwork, analytical techniques and writing a scientific report. You have also access to this course as a biologist.
Required Knowledge
Univ: 60 ECTS credits in Earth sciences/Physical geography or equivalent knowledge.
