Organic synthesis in medicinal chemistry, 7.5 credits
The course is discontinued from 2025-03-07
Contents
The course comprises deepened studies within organic synthetic chemistry applied in medicinal chemistry. Strategies for parallel synthesis of heterocyclic compounds are emphasized. This encompasses among other things strategies for protection group chemistry, multicomponent reactions and techniques for purifications of small organic molecules. The course also contains practical exercises that comprise experimental methods for the design, parallel synthesis and identification of small libraries of drug-like molecules
