How does an e-examination on campus work?
When you are about to take an e-examination, your teacher has prepared the questions in the service Inspera Assessment. If needed, the teacher has also prepared with, for example, websites, audio files or PDF files. You will write your answers using a computer provided by the University. A secure web browser will lock the computer and only show the exam content.
Here is a checklist on how to prepare yourself for taking an e-examination.
Sign up for an on-campus e-examination
You always need to sign up at least ten working days before the exam date if you intend to attend a written exam or e-examination. To be able to sign up for an exam, you must be registered on the course, and the signing up period must have opened. You can cancel your exam attendance until the time when the exam begins.

Preparations for your e-examination

Before you attend your digital classroom exam, you must check that you have the login details for your UMU ID.
- You need to memorise both the username and the password for your UMU ID.
- You can reset your login details here: https://administrationsverktyg.umu.se/Settings/ResetUser
- If you do not remember your username and/or your password when you are in the exam hall, it could lead to you not being able to take your exam.
