Arrive on time
You must arrive at the exam hall no later than 15 minutes before the start time of the exam. Your identity will be checked and all preparations must be completed before the start time of the exam. The door to the exam hall closes when the exam begins.
If you have signed up for the exam but arrive after the start time, you need to wait outside the exam hall until the second entry which is 30 minutes after the scheduled start time.
Identification
You must provide a valid photo ID, both when you enter the exam hall and when you hand in your exam. Bring your ID to your seat and have it visible on the table during the exam. The exam supervisor may check your ID even when the exam has begun.

Please note your photo ID must be physical, and have a validity date that has not passed. Valid forms of photo ID include:
- Swedish passport;
- Swedish driving licence;
- Swedish SIS-marked ID card;
- ID card issued by Swedish government agency, such as the Swedish Tax Agency identity card for people registered in Sweden;
- Passport from a country other than Sweden, that is valid, clear and plastic-wrapped, and has text in English, French or Spanish. Other national ID documents from outside the EU/EEA/Schengen area are not valid;
- National identity card issued by EU/EEA/Schengen countries.

You may not use the following forms of identification:
- LMA cards or residence permit cards;

If you have lost your photo ID
If your only valid ID is a national ID card for EU citizens or a passport, and you have lost it, you must do the following to write the exam:
- Report your loss to the police.
Please note that it may take up to 10 working days from the time you report the loss until you receive a copy of the report. - Bring a paper copy of your loss report or police report that is no more than three months old and show it to the exam supervisor when you are about to write the exam.
If the ID you lost was issued by someone other than the police, you must obtain a new ID to provide at the exam. If you are unable to obtain it before the scheduled exam date, you will have to wait until you have a new valid ID to write the exam.
If you have any other ID that is approved for exam writing, you will of course bring it when you are about to write the exam if you have not had time to get a new national ID card or passport.
Items you bring to the exam
You may bring personal belongings, but you must place them where the exam supervisor tells you to store them during the exam.
