Application deadlines, information sessions and drop-ins
When to apply
You can apply for exchange studies outside Europe through the university-wide exchange places between 15 October and 15 November for the upcoming academic year. Note! Exchange places outside Europe via the North2north exchange programme have a different deadline.
Application round of spare places
The exchange places that remain after the first application round (spare places) may be available to apply for again, if the host university's deadlines allow this. This applies to studies during the spring semester of the next academic year. Applications for remaining places usually open in mid-August and close early September. If you have already been offered a place in the first application round, you cannot apply for these places.
Information sessions and drop-in
In October and November the International Office offers information sessions for you who are curious about exchange studies outside Europe and you who have questions connected to your application. You can find all the events on this calendar webpage.
