Application deadlines, information sessions and drop-ins

When to apply

You can apply for exchange studies outside Europe through the university-wide exchange places between 15 October and 15 November for the upcoming academic year. Note! Exchange places outside Europe via the North2north exchange programme have a different deadline.

Application round of spare places - deadline 5th September
The exchange places (spring semester only) that are not filled in the regular selection round, and where the nomination or application deadline allows it, may be announced again in an application round of spare exchange places which 2025 opens 15 and closes 5 September. If you have already been assigned to a university in the regular application round, you cannot apply for these places.

Information sessions and drop-in

In October and November the International Office offers information sessions for you who are curious about exchange studies outside Europe and you who have questions connected to your application. You can find all the events on this calendar webpage
