Would you like to gain international experience and develop your professional skills at the same time? With a Nordplus scholarship, you have the opportunity to do an internship in a Nordic country – for example, Norway, Finland, Denmark, Iceland, Greenland or the Faroe Islands.

You can arrange the internship yourself, together with your home department at Umeå University and the host organization/company where it will take place. The internship period can range from 5 working days up to 12 months.

Who can apply?

Applicants must be enrolled for undergraduate or graduate studies at Umeå University to be eligible for Nordplus scholarship for internship.

It is also possible to apply for internship after your graduation, but the scholarship must be awarded before graduation and the internship must be completed within one year after graduating.

Applications are processed on a rolling basis.

For more information on how to apply, please contact the International Office at outgoing.io@umu.se.

You can read more about the Nordplus scholarship on the page for financing and scholarships.
