Pedagogical Gems - 30 years of teaching and learning

Ulrika Haake, Professor at the Department of Pedagogy, will kick off the days with Eva Svedmark, University Lecturer at Centre for Educational Development, Umeå University. In their discussion, they will explore the history of the University Pedagogy Conference and highlight the pearls of higher education pedagogy, 30 years of development, and experiences. (Swedish)

Viggo Kann, educational developer and professor of computer science at KTH, explores how university instructors should handle this new situation and conduct effective examinations that meet seemingly conflicting demands. Playful higher education: What, why and how?

What is Playful Higher Education? Rikke Toft Nörgård, Associate Professor at Aarhus University, provides insights into the theoretical framework of playfulness and discusses practical examples of student projects and evaluations of playful higher education. Gain an understanding of why a more playful approach to teaching may be desirable and explore the possibilities of integrating playfulness into your pedagogical practice! The lecture will be conducted in English.
