Physiotherapy

Physiotherapy concerns promoting health by encouraging movement. From a health perspective the human being is seen as a physical, psychological, social and existential whole.

A physiotherapist can work with people of all ages and within many different areas of society, both in public and private sectors. Work tasks may involve preventive interventions, rehabilitation, education and consulting assignments.

Within the department you can study the Programme of Physiotherapy, where you can obtain a bachelor's and professional degree after three years, and the Master's Programme of Physiotherapy after four or five years. Many years of quality investments in the Programme of Physiotherapy have resulted in high marks for good quality in a nationwide evaluation conducted by the University Chancellor's Office.
