Expected learning outcomes
After this course the student will have knowledge in health effects related to extreme weather and a warmer climate and expected health impacts as well as adaptation within the public health sector. In addition the student will be familiar with the epidemiological methods and impact assessment methods that are used within this field.
Required Knowledge
Required knowledge: 120 ECTS, of which a minimum of 30 ECTS are within one of the following: health sciences, environmental health or social sciences.
Special requirements for university studies in English equivalent to English B from Swedish Upper Secondary School / IELTS of at least 6.0, no score below 5.0 or a TOEFL score of 550 PB / 213CB / 79 i BT (equivalent to English B in Sweden) is required.

Lectures and seminars at three course gatherings in Umeå. Self studies in between.
