Contents

In the thesis work, the student will be able to apply knowledge and experience gained during earlier studies. It will also give the student a possibility to deepen and develop skills within the topic of the work. The work is carried out by the student independently but under supervision. Working experiences from the research and development field, industry or the academic world is given. The outcome of the work is disseminated by a thesis and an oral presentation.

Required Knowledge

The start of the thesis work is approved by an appointed examiner which on beforehand has got a written description of the topic. The student should also have passed the requirements defined in the document "examensbeskrivningen för teknologie magisterexamen (300 hp)" or equivalent. Proficiency in English equivalent to Swedish upper secondary course English A (IELTS (Academic) with a minimum overall score of 5.5 and no individual score below 5.0. TOEFL PBT (Paper-based Test) with a minimum total score of 530 and a minimum TWE score of 4. TOEFL iBT (Internet-based Test) with a minimum total score of 72 and a minimum score of 17 on the Writing Section). Where the language of instruction is Swedish, applicants must prove proficiency in Swedish to the level required for basic eligibility for higher studies.
