Contents
The aim of the course is that students learn the framework, based on statistical signal theory, to address media signal tasks and achieve skills in solving them using powerful signal processing tools. Contents. Media signals (audio, video, image). Stochastic processes. Representation of media signals. Models of media signals. Detection and recognition of media signals. Media signal filtering.
Required Knowledge
90 ECTS that should include Mathematics, 22.5 ECTS, Image processing, 7.5 ECTS plus Signal Theory, 7.5 ECTS or Media Signals, 15 ECTS or equivalent. Proficiency in English equivalent to Swedish upper Secondary course English A/5. Where the language of instruction is Swedish, applicants must prove proficiency in Swedish to the level required for basic eligibility for higher studies.
