Art Friday at Bildmuseet with art, bar, DJ and free admission. Readings, performance and music all evening. In collaboration with students from Umeå Academy of Fine Arts.
On May 17th the graduate students will host the Art Friday, celebrating the end of the Master’s degree exhibition Meanwhile / Umeå Academy of Fine Arts.The programme will include a wide range of live acts, such as readings, performances, and music.
The participating artists are current, former and graduating students from Umeå Academy of Fine Arts:
August Bällgren, Laura Cemin, Nils Gunnars, Linnea Johnels, Viktor Mattsson, Gazi Mrah, Maria Olsson, Sally von Rosen, Ellen Skafvenstedt, SkitzoSatan.
In stories, the word ‘meanwhile’ transfers us to an event taking place at the same time but in a place offset from the main event. Meanwhile is a signal to raise our attention. We are transported to this other place because what is about to happen there will soon have an impact on the development of the story.
