Join us and meet your peers with an interest in bioinformatics!
We are pleased to invite you to an online bioinformatics mingle on Wednesday March 17, 13.00-15.00. This mingle is themed around Metagenomics & Metatranscriptomics and we have three interesting talks to look forward to.
Apart from learning more about microbial and fungal research, the purpose of the afternoon is to increase our interactions university wide and get to know one another better. We therefore encourage staff at all levels of seniority to participate, and welcome everyone interested in bioinformatics regardless of experience. For more details see the program below.
13.05-13.20 Illia Simutin - Microbiome of the destroyed 4th Unit of Chernobyl Power Plant
13.20-13.50 Nelly Romani Vestman & Lokesh Manoharan - New Insights into the Microbial Profiles of Infected Root Canals in Traumatized Teeth
13.50 -14.05 Fika paus in breakout rooms
14.05 - 14.35 Andreas Schneider - Possibilities and (current) limitations of using metatranscripotomics to study fungal communities
The mingle is hosted via Zoom. If you would like to participate, please contact one of us and we will send you an invitation link.
