13.00–14.00 A Teaching Portfolio. Say what? with Lars Larsson (Centre for Educational Development)
During this one-hour, workshop-y session we will try to find out how to spot a good teacher through written words only. Once we have a rough understanding of that, I will tell you about teaching portfolios - their why, what and how. Finally, we will talk a bit about ways to approach and engage in a career as teachers in higher education.
14.00–15.00 Applying for academic jobs post-PhD with Kajsa Törmä (Department of Language Studies)
I will go through my own CV, how I have thought about certain parts, what was more/less challenging, etc.
15.00–16.00 Open CV writing session
Participants are welcome to stay and work on their own CVs. A few example CVs from senior academics will be available as resources. We will start the session with some (vegan) fika.
