From May 7–20, the Drone Defense Hackathon 2026 is organized by KTH Center for Total Defence – a national hackathon where students, researchers, and companies collaborate to develop solutions to protect airports and critical infrastructure from drone threats.
Innovation Office in Umeå invites you to a joint digital kickoff, where you can follow the national launch from KTH together with other local participants.
Time: May 7, 13:00–approx. 16:30

Who can join: Students, researchers, startups, and companies (at least one team member must have an academic affiliation)

After the broadcast, a joint on-site discussion about the challenges will take place.
