Alexandru Ioan Cuza University of Iași is delighted to host the online webinar Student Perspectives on AI in Higher Education, in which students take the floor to share how they actually use AI in their academic work: from research and writing to learning and everyday study life. This is a rare opportunity to hear directly from students across the EC2U Alliance about the tools, practices, and questions that matter most to them.
Date: Tuesday, 5 May 2026 Time: 16:00–18:00 CET Platform: Microsoft Teams (the link will be sent to all registered participants in due course) Language: English
The webinar will be facilitated by Prof. dr. Adrian Iftene, Vice-Rector for Information Infrastructure Development at UAIC, a leading expert in Artificial Intelligence and Natural Language Processing, and a passionate advocate for helping students become active, informed users of AI in their academic and professional lives.
The speakers will be students representing all EC2U universities, each bringing their own perspective on how AI shapes their academic experience, and reminding us that behind every technology are real students, real questions, and real stories.
The event is open to all students and academic staff from all EC2U universities.
