Information including research data, is one of the university's most important assets. The information must therefore be available to authorized personnel, and protected from, for example, leakage, distortion or destruction. If the information contains personal data, the GDPR's provisions for the processing of personal data must be complied with.

The focus will be on how research data should be handled so that it is done in accordance with GDPR, and also what a researcher should be aware of in terms of information and IT security.
