November 6–7 | Humanities Building
The conference is open to everyone working in higher education: teachers, educational developers, researchers, and leaders. It invites the sharing of both practical experiences and scientific perspectives.
Do you want to contribute to the conversation about The Art of Teaching? We welcome educational contributions of all kinds. You can submit proposals for presentations, workshops, or posters.
The deadline for submitting contributions is October 1, 2025.
Teaching is a complex and creative practice where professional judgment, ethical considerations, and relational work play crucial roles alongside subject knowledge. In an era where higher education is shaped by increasing demands for digitalization, standardization, and measurable outcomes, there is reason to pause and reflect on the other dimensions of teaching. These dimensions cannot always be quantified, but they shape the very core of educational quality.
At this year’s university pedagogical conference, we want to create a space for exploring and reclaiming teaching as an art form. What happens to the role of the teacher when teaching is reduced to merely necessary interactions, technical solutions, and demands for efficiency? How can teachers embrace the enthusiastic, relational, and responsive aspects of teaching, and thus create truly meaningful and loving learning opportunities for our students?
