One of our aims is to spread knowledge about the health of the Sámi among the health care professionals.
We currently teach about Sámi health to medical students in the semesters 5 and 8 of their training and to students in the master in public health program.
We have started development of an introductory course to Sámi and Indigenous Health. It will be a digitally-based 7.5 credits course taught on 25% during a term. We are expecting to give this course for the first time during the autumn of 2022.
