Microphotonics

Profile area One micrometer, or one millionth of a meter, is the scale at which the sensitivity of our normal senses starts to recede. Yet it is an important scale at which many physical phenomena happen and even become intensified. At Microphotonics group, we study in particular light-matter interactions at the micro scale towards efficient information- and energy-transfer applications.
