RECEM — Research School for Excellence in Cementitious Materials Science

The RECEM research school advances materials science for future and emerging sustainable cementitious materials. The topic spans from extracted or recycled minerals, via the main focus area — mineral processing — to low-carbon cement based construction materials. RECEM unites leading academic environments at Umeå University (host), Luleå University of Technology, Chalmers University of Technology, and Lund University/Max IV. The research school is funded by the Swedish Research Council.
