Ange Turell

I am currently the main guitar teacher at the Department of Creative Studies at Umeå University. This subject is of great interest to me - apart from teaching I am an active musician myself, mostly focusing on classical guitar. 

For several years I have also been working as a choir director. In this area, I have spent a lot of time and energy on arranging music, which has lead to a considerable experience in this field. 

To me, music is a way of understanding and making sense of existence. I believe music has an important role in our human nature and it is crucial for a democratic and dynamic society.
