I am an Associate Professor in Media Technology, specializing in Precision Livestock Farming with a focus on sensor technologies and data analysis. I also teach in the field of Interaction Design.
I am an Associate Professor in Media Technology, with a passion for combining research and teaching to create meaningful impact. My work bridges the fields of Precision Livestock Farming, Media Technology, and Interaction Design.
As a researcher, I focus on developing sensor-fusion systems and computer vision technologies that support the automation of animal behaviour monitoring and welfare management. I am especially interested in how technology can be used to improve animal welfare and contribute to more sustainable farming practices. My research has primarily focused on dairy and sheep production systems.
Some key areas of my research include:
Alongside my research, I am dedicated to teaching and engaging students in the areas of Media Technology and Interaction Design, helping them explore how digital technologies can be used to solve real-world problems and shape the future.
I teach in the interaction design field.
