I am a PhD researcher at the department of computer science and in the group "Socially aware AI". This goup is an interdisciplinary group working on the social aspects of AI, e.g. social simulations.
I started my PhD in october 2019 on the topic of developing social behavior for agent-based social simulations. Currently I'm working on context-sensitive deliberation for those agents, where context can not only influence the choices made but also the type of deliberation used.
A big project I worked on with the research group is the Agent-based Social Simulation of the Coronavirus Crisis (ASSOCC) project. Furthermore I worked on a social simulation about illegal supply chains with concepts of trust and risk. And during my master thesis we worked on a fishing village with agents that behaved based on their values.
