UID26 | Design Talks & Degree Show

UID26 celebrates the unique visions of our standout students. On June 2–3, we welcome our global UID family.

UID26 | Project Gallery

This year's theme TRACES – chosen by our graduating students, honours the paths that brought them here and the futures they are shaping. It speaks to memories made and lessons carried forward. It reflects how each project leaves evidence of inquiry and collaboration, from first conversation to final proposal.

TRACES also acknowledges our shared responsibility, asking what kind of imprint design should leave on society and the planet. At UID, these students have mapped their timelines, tested materials and methods, and cared for communities, leaving thoughtful traces that guide others. The Class of 2026 now steps into the world, ready to make traces that are honest, restorative and full of possibility.

At UID26, students will present their final concepts through live on‑stage talks, physical models and refined prototypes. The event brings together the MFA programmes in product, interaction and transportation design, along with the BFA programme in industrial design, offering a vivid snapshot of this year’s creativity and exploration.

For our online audience, we will provide a live broadcast and an extensive digital gallery featuring this year’s groundbreaking graduation projects. Guests joining us on site or from afar will gain an inside look at each student’s evolving design journey as they share their final proposals.
