Legal interpretation and application is increasingly important to the field of sports. This course exposes students to some of the most central and topical issues of international sports law, including comparing national legal systems and considering the impact of international and European Union law on sports. Using a small-scale, student-active teaching model, students learn to research and discuss such issues as law's impact on regulations, dispute resolution, and athletes' rights.
