SEE Sustainability Week is an annual collaborative initiative and event week held in the regions of Västerbotten and Österbotten. The week aims to share knowledge, inspire engagement, and create opportunities for dialogue around social, economic, and environmental sustainability.
From 14 to 20 September, SEE Sustainability Week will take place, highlighting and inspiring initiatives that contribute to sustainable development. The theme of the 2026 Sustainability Week is A Future to Look Forward To.
Umeå University is one of the partners behind the initiative. The week also showcases the university’s own sustainability efforts through activities organised by staff and departments across the university.
