Fees at the Biobank Research Unit

Administrative services related to samples and/or data withdrawal in NSHDS-studies

Unit price: SEK 25,000, which is paid in two parts:

- SEK 5,000 when the project is approved by the expert group at the Biobank Research Unit.

- SEK 20,000 when registry data has been sent to the researcher, or when the list of samples has been prepared and sent to Biobanken norr.

- Study amendments: no additional fee

EPIC projects involving biological samples

SEK 20,000.

Genetic investigations for medical purposes.

No cost.

Administrative services related to Biobank Deposit Boxes

Currently no cost.

Questions regarding ethical application and support drafting third-party agreements (if samples are sent outside Umu).

This service is provided free of charge to all biobank studies where Umeå University is the research principal.

Fees at Biobanken norr

In addition to the fees at the Biobank Research Unit, fees are also charged at the laboratory at Biobanken norr for sample handling.
