Most of Umeå University's operations in the fields of medicine and odontology are conducted in the hospital area. There are many other buildings, including the Emergency Department, Medical Library, School of Dentistry and Caring Sciences Building. In addition, the Villan Medical Student Union building is beautifully situated in the hospital park.
