Before data collection, the following must be in place.
When collecting data, you must ensure that the risks identified during the preparation phase have been eliminated. You must therefore make sure that all project participants are familiar with the secure procedures.
Preparations
Request a free space on the Skyddade dokument service for your research data: Skyddade dokument
Request another similar free space for encryption keys key and personal data: Skyddade dokument
Create a space on O365. Many people decide to set up a Team, where you and your colleagues can share your pseudonymised material: http://o365.umu.se/
Add the following folder structure in the Skyddade dokument service and your O365 space:
Data
Admin
Analysis
Manuscript
Create subfolders as appropriate for your project.
Your project must also be described in a Word file that must be named and look like this: README.docx
Important information about information texts
All data collected by the public authority may be requested, and the processing of personal data must be detailed in the information text. You must therefore use Umu’s template and ensure that you include the section on processing personal data. Umu’s template includes everything that the Ethical Review Board has included in its template.
