The Lennart Bondesson Foundations aims to promote a vibrant research environment in mathematics, mathematical statistics, and statistics in Umeå.
Funding from the Lennart Bondesson Foundation may be applied for by doctoral students, postdoctoral researchers, non-employed postdoctoral researchers funded by scholarships, as well as those holding teaching posts in accordance with Umeå University's Appointments Procedure for Teachers, in mathematics, mathematical statistics, or statistics who are affiliated with one of the following institutions:
• Department of Mathematics and Mathematical Statistics, Umeå University
• Department of Statistics, Umeå School of Business, Economics and Statistics, Umeå University
