About the Event

The Webinar will provide career orientation for PhD candidates and connect them with professionals from outside of academia working in various European countries. The Webinar will include a series of small group discussions about careers outside academia between mentors (i.e., experienced professionals with a doctorate who now work in industry) – and mentees (doctoral students). 

Application Process

To apply, please complete the online application form. You will be asked to provide the following information:

• Your name, email address, and university
• The discipline of your PhD
• Your research field
• Your date of enrolment and expected submission date
• Whether you would like to apply for optional one-to-one mentoring meetings after the webinar
  (mentees are responsible for organising these meetings with their mentor)
• A short description of the questions or topics you would like to discuss during the webinar and/or mentoring sessions
