Ambassador visit: The 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi in Rwanda

32 years ago the genocide against the Tutsi in Rwanda took place. In one of the worst crimes against humanity, more than a million people were slaughtered in just 100 days.
To commemorate and honour the victims of this crime, the Umeå Association of International affairs together with the UN student-association are honoured to invite you to an afternoon with the Rwandan ambassador to Sweden, Dr Diane Gashumba, the Swedish ombudsman for Equity Lars Arrhenius, as well as Rwandan scientists Dr. Vincent Rusanganwa and Josée Butera Akayezu.
