About Stefan Svallfors
Stefan Svallfors was Professor of Sociology at Umeå University from 2000 to 2015. He was affiliated with the university for more than 30 years, conducting internationally recognized research on the welfare state, social attitudes, and political sociology. Today, he is a researcher at the Institute for Futures Studies in Stockholm, where he leads research on research policy, policy professions, and the organization of science.
