About the seminar series

The topic of the Aboutness seminar: There are things that are about other things. The word ‘Stockholm’ is one of these things: it is about the city of Stockholm. Similarly, there are thoughts that are about Stockholm. Perceptions are sometimes said to be ‘of’ things; correctly or not, such ‘of’-talk is often understood as referring to the same kind of relation that hold between word and thoughts and what they are about. The focus of the Aboutness Seminar is this feature of some things, of being about (or ‘of’) some other thing.

All interested are welcome to participate in this seminar. One should feel free to come and go as one pleases. If you want to be on the mailing list for the seminar, please contact Alexander Sandgren, see details below.
