Gabriel Abend had has won a range of prizes for his work. His most recent articles are "Thick Concepts and Sociological Research" (in the journal Sociological Theory) and "Making Things Possible" (in the journal Sociological Methods & Research). In his own words “They're real page-turners—satisfaction guaranteed or your money back”, and if his writing is anything to judge by, this seminar will be both informative and entertaining.
